Hormone pellets are very small implants placed just under the skin during an office visit. They release hormones slowly over time, which gives steady dosing without daily or weekly doses at home. Cohler Care uses bioidentical hormone pellets.

The insertion visit

- Labs: Robert orders the required labs for treatment. Labs are your cost: bill them to your insurance, or self-pay through Access Lab or Fullscript.
- Insertion visit: if you go ahead, the visit takes about 30 minutes. Robert places the pellets just under the skin through a small incision.
- Aftercare: aftercare is simple, and the small incision usually heals in about 3 days.
- Every 3–4 months: pellets are placed again every 3–4 months. Calls or visits with Robert in between are at no charge.

Talking with Robert about anything else costs nothing more. TRT patients can connect with Robert once a month as needed, and have labs and an in-person visit every 6 months for monitoring and prescribing regulations (no visit fee; labs are the only extra cost). Women's hormone replacement (non-pellet) patients follow up every 3 months, or more often as needed while fine-tuning medication and dose. Pellet patients have pellets placed every 3–4 months, and calls or visits with Robert in between are at no charge.
